It’s been a rainy day,
For as long as I can remember.
The sun seldom shows itself,
When there’s clouds to hinder.
There’s not much to do,
When it’s cold and wet outside.
There’s not much to cling on to,
Except that you’re sheltered inside.
I stay confined in my shelter,
Since there’s no place to play.
And since no one ever visits,
When the sky is set this way,
Life is pretty lonely, and sad,
When it’s always a rainy day.
